About This Model

The Yamaha Motif6 is a 61-key workstation synthesiser built around Yamaha's AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) sound engine, delivering a wide palette of acoustic and synthesised tones across 348 preset voices, 48 drum kits, and 128 user patches. An integrated sequencer supports full song composition without a computer, while USB MIDI connectivity makes it straightforward to integrate with a DAW. The keyboard uses a semi-weighted FS synth action, and the 62-voice polyphony keeps dense arrangements clean and uninterrupted. MIDI In, Out, and Through ports round out the connectivity for use within larger studio or stage setups.
