About This Model

The M-Audio BX4 is a compact active 2-way studio monitor system built around a 4.5" Kevlar woofer and a 1" silk-dome tweeter, covering a frequency response of 69 Hz to 22 kHz. The active speaker delivers 2 × 25 W RMS (120 W total peak) and connects via stereo RCA, 1/4" TRS balanced, or 1/8" auxiliary inputs, while a 1/8" headphone output adds versatile monitoring options. HF and LF shelf EQ controls (±6 dB), an L/R position switch, and a rear bass-reflex port allow the pair to be tailored to different room placements and listening preferences. The passive speaker is driven from the active unit via an included TS interconnect cable, keeping the desktop setup tidy.
