Before it is ever listed
It arrives
Received within 1-2 days, and photographed first if the box has taken a knock on the way.
Out of the box
Opened by hand, never sliced. Every mark we find is written down and becomes the condition grade.
Cleaned by hand
Panel by panel, with the right product for vinyl covering, painted metal or wood. Not a quick wipe over.
Contacts and sockets
An extra step. Every socket and contact point gets cleaned with contact cleaner, so it performs at its best.
Plugged in and played
Every input gets a cable, every control gets turned, and somebody actually plays it. This is the good bit.
Through our own rig
Listening for hum, hiss, crackle on the controls and channels that do not match. The same rig every time.
Photographed and listed
Shot from every side, scuffs included, so there are no surprises when the box is opened.
Interlude
Then it waits on the shelf for the right person
Racked with its cables and its own location, so we know exactly where it is when you order it.

The day it goes out
Wrapped by hand
Layers of bubble wrap, with extra on the knobs and sockets, because those are what snap in transit.
Boxed and collected
Boxed with room on every side so nothing shifts, then collected by our courier. Tracking the same day.
Made to be played, not stored
Everything here is going to somebody who will actually use it. That is the whole reason we do it this way.
