About This Model
The Technics SH-8045 is a 12-band stereo graphic equalizer, offering precise control over twelve frequency bands spanning 16Hz through to 32kHz. Each band can be boosted or cut by up to ±12dB via individual sliders, allowing detailed shaping of a stereo signal's frequency response. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 100dB, total harmonic distortion of just 0.005%, and a frequency response extending from 5Hz to 100kHz, it was built to handle high-fidelity audio chains without degrading the source signal. Channel separation of 70dB keeps the stereo image clean, and the unit accepts input levels up to 8V, making it compatible with a range of hi-fi and audio equipment.
