About this model
The Vox VT100X is a 100-watt hybrid modelling combo amplifier from the Valvetronix line, pairing a solid-state power stage with a 12AX7 tube-driven preamp circuit for genuine valve character in a versatile modelling format. It houses a single 12-inch speaker and offers 11 built-in amp models - expandable to 20 via Vox Tone Room software - alongside 13 onboard effects including chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, delay, and reverb. Thirty-three factory and user presets come loaded out of the box (expandable to 60 through Tone Room), and USB connectivity lets you edit and store patches from PC, Mac, iOS, or Android. A built-in tuner, aux input, headphone output, and footswitch jack round out a well-specified feature set suited to rehearsal, home recording, and live use alike.
