About This Model

The Sonos CONNECT:AMP is a wireless amplifier and network bridge designed to bring passive speakers into a multi-room Sonos audio system. It delivers 110W RMS of Class-D amplification (2×55W into 8 ohms) and connects to speakers via spring binding posts, with an auto-detecting RCA line-in and an RCA subwoofer output with an 80Hz crossover. Networking is handled via home Wi-Fi (802.11b/g, 2.4GHz) or Sonos's own AES-encrypted SonosNet mesh, and a built-in 2-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch lets you bridge wired devices at the same time. It supports a wide range of audio formats including FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, and Ogg Vorbis, and integrates with streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, and TuneIn Radio.
