About This Model
The Rotel RX-202 is a compact AM/FM stereo receiver produced in 1974, delivering 15 watts per channel into 8Ω. It accepts a wide range of sources including MM phono, ceramic phono, tape monitor, and aux inputs, and offers outputs for two pairs of loudspeakers (4-16Ω), a headphone jack, tape output, and a switched AC outlet. The front panel features rotary bass and treble tone controls alongside high filter, loudness, tape monitor, and simulated 4-channel switches. FM coverage runs 88-108 MHz with a sensitivity of 2.9 µV, and AM covers 525-1650 kHz. The unit is housed in a walnut veneer wooden case and weighs 6 kg.
