About This Model
The MOTU 828x is a professional audio interface offering 28 inputs and 30 outputs, connecting to a computer via Thunderbolt or USB 2.0. Analog I/O runs at up to 192 kHz / 24-bit, while the 16-channel ADAT optical ports operate at up to 96 kHz. On-board CueMix FX provides a 32-bit floating-point DSP mixer with reverb, EQ, and compression across all inputs and outputs - all without touching your DAW. The mic preamps deliver -129 dBu EIN and 118 dB dynamic range, and the unit can also run as a standalone mixer with no computer connected, making it a flexible centrepiece for a studio of almost any scale.
