About This Model
The MOTU 828mkII is a FireWire audio interface offering 20 simultaneous inputs and 22 simultaneous outputs. It provides 8 analog TRS inputs, 2 combo XLR/TRS mic/guitar inputs, 8 analog TRS outputs, 2 main outputs, and 2 headphone outputs, alongside ADAT optical I/O (8 channels in and out), S/PDIF digital I/O, and MIDI I/O. Additional features include Word Clock I/O, SMPTE synchronization, zero-latency CueMix monitoring, hardware metering, and a footswitch jack for punch-in/out recording - making it a well-specified centrepiece for a project or professional studio setup.
