About this model
The Laney HCM65B is a 65W bass combo amplifier from the Hardcore Max series, built around a single 12-inch speaker in a solid wooden cabinet with a metal grill. It caters to both active and passive bass inputs, and offers a practical set of outputs including a DI direct out, headphone jack, external speaker jack, and a CD/line in for playing along to backing tracks. The preamp section includes a gain control, 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid frequency, and an on-board compressor, giving players meaningful tone-shaping tools. An effects loop rounds out the feature set for those using external processing.
