The Akai DR16 is a 16-track digital hard disk recorder and editor with a built-in digital mixer. It offers CD-quality audio and non-destructive editing capabilities, making it as easy to use as an ordinary multi-track tape recorder. The DR16 supports balanced 1/4-inch phone jack analog inputs and outputs, and it includes digital inputs and outputs via AES/EBU or S/PDIF standards.
