We power them up and check the pads, buttons, knobs, screen and connections before listing. Each item is graded for condition and photographed as it is, so any pad wear or marks on the casing show up in the listing.

Is an older MPC still worth buying used?

For a lot of people, yes. Older MPCs like the 2000 and 2500 are still used for their workflow and sound, while newer standalone models like the MPC One add a touchscreen and modern storage. Check what storage and connections a model uses before you buy, as older units rely on formats that are harder to find now.

Do you charge for delivery on Akai gear?

No. Delivery is free on every item to anywhere in the UK, from a small pad controller to a rack sampler.

Can I sell my Akai sampler or controller to you?

Yes. Send us the details through the trade-in form and we'll quote within 24 hours. We offer free UK collection, and payment is by bank transfer. You can also put the value towards something from our stock.
