TEAC is a Japanese maker with a long history in tape, and that's most of what we get in: cassette decks such as the W-6000R and V-615, and reel-to-reel recorders like the A-3300SX and X-7. We also see the compact H-500 separates, DAB and FM tuners, CD players and the TN-175 turntable.

Every item is tested before listing and graded for condition. Every input gets a cable, every control gets turned, somebody actually plays it, and we listen for hum, hiss and crackle through our own rig. Any fault or wear is noted in the listing, and anything sold as spares or repair is clearly marked.

Do you test reel-to-reel and cassette decks with tape?

We check every function we can and note anything that doesn't work in the listing. Old tape machines can need new belts or a clean of the heads, and if we know one does, we say so rather than leave you to find out.

Do you offer free delivery on TEAC gear?

Yes. Free UK delivery on every order. Gear is wrapped by hand with extra padding on the knobs and sockets.

Can I sell or trade in my TEAC gear?

Yes. Send us the details and photos through our trade-in form and we'll quote within 24 hours. You can take payment by bank transfer or put the value towards something from our stock. Free UK collection on all trade-ins.
