Buy Pre-Owned Hohner Accordions

Hohner is the German maker behind a huge share of the accordions and harmonicas played in the UK. Most of what we get in is accordions: diatonic button models such as the Club, Erica and Double-Ray, and piano accordions such as the Atlantic IV, Carena, Amatona and Bravo. A new accordion is a big outlay, so a used Hohner is a sensible way in.

Free UK delivery on every order. Klarna available at checkout.

Why buy Hohner from Audio Trader?

An accordion is part instrument, part machine, so condition matters. Every Hohner is inspected before listing and graded. Somebody actually plays it, and anything that isn't right, such as a sticking key, is noted in the listing. Real photos show the actual instrument.

Hohner instruments we stock

We've had through the Club IIB, Club Model 2, Erica, Double-Ray and 2915 diatonic accordions, the Atlantic IV Deluxe, Carena IIIM, Amatona III and Bravo II piano accordions, Special 20 Marine Band and Blues Harp harmonicas, a Chromatica M263, and a Pianet T electric piano.

Hohner FAQs

Common questions about buying used Hohner gear from Audio Trader

What should I check when buying a used accordion?

Look at the bellows for tears or worn corners, check the straps, and read what the listing says about the keys and buttons. We play every accordion before listing and note anything that isn't right in the description.

What's the difference between a diatonic and a piano accordion?

A diatonic accordion, such as the Club or Erica, has buttons and plays a different note on the push and the pull. A piano accordion, such as the Atlantic IV or Bravo, has a keyboard on the right hand and plays the same note both ways. Each listing says which type it is.

Do you offer free delivery on Hohner accordions?

Yes. Free UK delivery on every order. Accordions are wrapped by hand and boxed with room on every side so nothing shifts.

Can I sell or trade in my Hohner accordion?

Yes. Send us the details and photos through our trade-in form and we'll quote within 24 hours. You can take payment by bank transfer or put the value towards something from our stock. Free UK collection on all trade-ins.
