About this model
The Yamaha PSR-S950 is a 61-key arranger workstation built around Yamaha's AWM Stereo Sampling sound engine, delivering up to 128 notes of polyphony. It ships with 786 preset voices alongside 33 Drum/SFX Kits and 480 XG Voices, including Super Articulation Lite voices, and 408 preset dynamic styles - among them Audio Styles that incorporate real recorded drum and percussion performances using Yamaha's Time Stretch Technology. A 16-track sequencer and USB Audio Recorder support WAV and MP3 capture directly to flash drive, while the onboard audio engine handles MP3/WAV playback, pitch shifting, time stretching, and vocal cancellation. Dual 15-watt amplifiers power the built-in speakers, and connectivity includes main stereo outputs, AUX IN, Video Out, USB To Device, and USB To Host. A 5.7-inch colour LCD and 126-bank Multi Pad section round out the performance-focused feature set.
