About This Model

The Yamaha PSR-S900 is a 61-key arranger workstation built around Yamaha's AWM sound engine with Enhanced Definition Synthesis (EDS), MegaVoice, and Super Articulation technologies — allowing it to reproduce realistic instrument articulations such as guitar slides and saxophone breath effects. The keys are full-size with touch response (unweighted). Onboard polyphony runs to 128 notes, and the built-in amplification delivers 2 × 12W. Connectivity is broad, covering MIDI In/Out, USB, line outputs, headphone output, and inputs for microphone and guitar — with audio recording direct to USB flash drive. A 320×240 colour LCD, 16-track sequencer, Vocal Harmony, Music Finder, and an Internet Direct Connection port for downloading MIDI files round out a feature set aimed squarely at gigging and home arranging.
