About This Model

The Yamaha O2R is a professional digital recording console built around 24-bit sampling at 48 kHz. It offers 24 analogue inputs alongside 16 digital inputs, with AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O as standard, and can be expanded via optional cards to support ADAT or TDIF connections. Each channel strip features parametric EQ, and the console includes two onboard multi-effects processors. Workflow features such as touch fader editing, scene memory recall, automix functionality, MIDI remote control, and fader grouping made the O2R a serious centrepiece for project and professional studio setups of its era.
