About This Model

The Yamaha MA2030a is a compact 1U rack-mount Class D power amplifier designed for installed sound applications. It delivers 30W × 2 into low-impedance loads (3Ω, 4Ω, or 8Ω) or 60W × 1 in high-impedance 70V/100V mode, making it suitable for both stereo speaker setups and distributed audio systems. Inputs include a balanced XLR combo Mic input, a balanced 3-pin Euroblock Mic input, a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack, and dual stereo RCA pairs, with speaker outputs via barrier strip and a stereo RCA line out. Built-in DSP features cover feedback suppression, a priority ducker, a leveler, bass and treble EQ with enhancer, a 150Hz high-pass filter, and speaker EQ optimised for Yamaha VXC/VXS series. The fanless design uses passive convection cooling, and the unit weighs just 1.8kg, making it easy to integrate into a rack alongside an optional DCP1V4S digital control panel.
