About This Model

The Xotic SL Drive is a compact overdrive and distortion pedal built to capture the character of classic Marshall Super Lead (Model 1959) and Super Bass amplifiers. Its straightforward three-knob layout - Volume, Gain, and Tone - keeps dialling in tones intuitive, while internal DIP switches let you switch between the brighter, higher-gain Super Lead voicing and the fuller, more compressed Super Bass voicing without opening the signal path. True bypass switching keeps your tone uncoloured when the pedal is off, and the circuit responds organically to your guitar's volume control, cleaning up naturally when rolled back. Housed in a miniature enclosure measuring just 89 x 38 x 38 mm, it's designed to sit comfortably on even the most crowded pedalboard, and runs on standard 9V DC (centre negative) or a 9V battery, with support up to 18V for additional headroom.
