About This Model
The Wing Music Resounder II dates from 1977 and combines double tracking and flanger effects in a single unit. Effects Database classifies it as an LFO-controlled analogue delay and flanger. It is a rare, 1970s UK-made stereo flanger housed in an aluminium case, with the top panel covered by a large printed transfer — specialist dealers note that very few examples of either the Resounder I or II appear to have been made. Working examples are well regarded, with sellers describing the flanging as smooth and warm, and the sound as clear, vintage and distinctive. As a wholly analogue design from a short-lived British maker, the Resounder II has become a collector's item as much as a working effect, and even non-functioning examples hold interest for restorers and enthusiasts.
