About This Model

The Wharfedale Pro SL1224 is an analog mixing console suited to both live and studio use, offering 12 mono microphone channels with XLR/TRS inputs and 14 line-level TRS inputs. Each mono channel benefits from a studio-grade phantom-powered mic pre-amp, a 3-band EQ with high-pass filter, PFL, and pan control. A built-in digital FX processor provides 16 presets covering halls, rooms, plate reverbs, chorus, flange, delay, and rotary speaker effects, while 2 auxiliary sends, a dedicated stereo return, and control room and headphone outputs give flexible routing. The integrated full-duplex USB interface (2-in/2-out, 16-bit, 48kHz) is class-compliant and works plug-and-play with Windows, Mac, and Linux, making it straightforward for direct computer recording. Audio performance is rated at 20Hz–20kHz ±2dB frequency response, THD+N below 0.025% at +14dBu, and a maximum balanced output of +26.5dBu.
