About This Model

The Warwick Streamer LX is a professional-grade electric bass with a lineage stretching back to the original Streamer, first launched in 1982 and evolved into the LX form in 1996. It features a bolt-on neck construction with a Wenge or Ovangkol neck and Wenge fingerboard, giving it a distinctively dark, focused tone with strong mid-range presence. The body is available in woods including Maple, Cherry, and Swamp Ash, each lending its own character to the instrument's resonance. Active MEC pickups and a 2-way MEC active electronics circuit — with Volume, Balance, Bass, and Treble controls — provide a wide tonal range and the headroom needed for modern bass playing styles.
