About This Model

The Vox Valvenergy Fuel Injector is an analog overdrive pedal built around Nutube vacuum tube technology, delivering organic, amp-like distortion with rich harmonics and natural compression. Unlike typical preamp-style pedals, it preserves the guitar's fundamental character rather than imposing heavy coloration. A NATURAL/FAT mode switch lets players choose between a clean fundamental tone or a thicker response well suited to single-coil pickups. Three controls - DRIVE, TONE, and LEVEL - keep the interface straightforward. The pedal accepts a 9V DC supply (center negative) or a single 9V alkaline battery, runs through standard mono quarter-inch input and output jacks, and weighs just 300 g, making it a compact addition to any pedalboard.
