About this model
The Vintage V52 is a single-cutaway electric guitar built around a bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable soft-C profile, a maple fingerboard with 22 medium frets and a 10" radius, and a 25.5" scale length. The body is constructed from alder or Eastern poplar depending on the variant. Electronics consist of two Wilkinson single-coil pickups - a WVTN at the neck and a WVOB at the bridge - routed through a single volume control, single tone control, and a 3-way selector switch, delivering the bright, twangy tones associated with classic single-coil designs. Hardware throughout is Wilkinson-spec, including the WTB intonatable bridge with three brass saddles and WJ55S deluxe tuners, with a graphite nut contributing to tuning stability. The V52 was designed by Trev Wilkinson and the Icon series carries a deliberately aged, relic'd aesthetic.
