About this model
The Monitor Audio Vestra W10 is an active subwoofer built around a 10-inch C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminium Magnesium) driver in a sealed enclosure, powered by a 250W RMS Class-D amplifier. The driver features a refined motor system with uprated venting and high-purity copper wire voice coils, with Finite Element Analysis applied to steel components to keep distortion in check. Frequency response extends down to 19 Hz (-6dB in-room), with a peak SPL of 111 dB. Onboard DSP provides three tailored sound modes - Impact, Movie, and Music - while front-panel controls cover volume, a 32-200 Hz variable low-pass filter, and 0-180° phase switching. Inputs include stereo RCA, a dedicated LFE RCA, and a 12V trigger input for system automation. The sealed enclosure design prioritises tight, controlled bass and flexible room placement.
