About the Unbranded 8-string Banjo Mandolin

Refurbished

This violin or string instrument has been professionally refurbished and is in full working order. The item currently has 4 new strings fitted, giving it a fresh and responsive foundation for playing. Cosmetically, the surface condition is fair, structural integrity is fair, cleanliness is fair, so some signs of previous use should be expected. It has been fully tested following the repair work to ensure it performs as it should.

About the item

The banjo mandolin blends the compact, fretted layout of a traditional mandolin with the bright, punchy projection associated with a banjo-style body. With eight strings arranged in four paired courses, it produces a ringing, resonant tone that suits folk, bluegrass, and country styles particularly well. It appeals to players who enjoy a lively, distinctive sound and to collectors looking for an unusual hybrid instrument.

Restrung and tested, this refurbished instrument offers an affordable and characterful way to add a unique voice to your playing.
