About This Model

The Trumix AR5 is a 2-way, bi-amplified active studio monitor delivering 55 watts of total power — 35 watts to the 5.25-inch fibreglass composite woofer and 20 watts to the 1.48-inch natural silk dome tweeter. With a frequency response of 55Hz to 20kHz and a maximum SPL of 106dB, it covers a wide range for near-field mixing duties. Connectivity is flexible, with XLR, TRS, and RCA inputs catering to a variety of sources and interfaces. A rear-mounted gain control and a high-frequency EQ switch (–2dB, 0dB, or +2dB above 5kHz) allow basic acoustic tuning to suit different room environments, with a crossover point set at 2.1kHz.
