About this model
The Traktor Kontrol S8 is Native Instruments' flagship DJ controller, launched in October 2014 and built around a standalone mixer with a 10-input/4-output, 4-channel audio interface. Each deck features a 4.7-inch high-resolution display, touch strips for pitch and scratch control, touch-sensitive knobs and 8 RGB performance pads supporting Hotcue, Loop, Freeze and Remix modes. The mixer section offers four stereo analogue inputs switchable between phono and line, two mic inputs, balanced XLR and RCA main outputs, 1/4-inch booth outputs and dual headphone outputs, with Traktor Scratch Pro 2 bundled for timecode vinyl and CD control. It also has a removable crossfader section.
