About This Model

The Technics SX-KN6500 is a feature-rich 61-key arranger keyboard powered by a Dynamic PCM sound engine, offering 1,065 preset sounds, 36 drum kits, and 2 digital drawbars alongside 220 preset rhythms with four variations each and 1,080 Music Stylist styles. Its 16-track sequencer holds approximately 40,000 notes across up to 10 songs, while the wide colour graphic LCD (640 × 240 dots) makes navigation straightforward. With 64-note polyphony, initial and after touch sensitivity, and a substantial 66W built-in amplifier system, the KN6500 is built for serious home performance. Connectivity is comprehensive: MIDI IN/OUT/THRU, line outputs, aux inputs, a microphone input, expression pedal and footswitch jacks, computer MIDI interface, and a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive for storing songs, styles, and system data. The keyboard also supports wave expansion boards and is compatible with SMF, GM, GM2, and DOCM formats.
