About this model
The Technics SH-E51 is a stereo graphic equalizer featuring 7 frequency bands (63Hz, 160Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 2.5kHz, 6.3kHz, and 12.5kHz), each adjustable by ±12dB in 2dB steps - giving precise, hands-on control over the tonal character of a hi-fi system. Its frequency response extends from 5Hz to 45kHz, and signal quality is exceptionally clean with a 100dB signal-to-noise ratio and just 0.005% total harmonic distortion across the full audio band. A standout feature is the built-in spectrum analyzer display, which offers five display modes - bars, peak-hold, dot, hustler, and Aurora - alongside six memory presets for storing and recalling EQ curves. With 22kΩ input impedance and 1V nominal sensitivity, it integrates neatly into a standard line-level hi-fi chain.
