About This Model

The Technics RS-BX707 is a 3-head stereo cassette deck built around a single quartz direct-drive capstan motor, which provides stable tape transport with precise speed accuracy. It handles Normal (FE), CrO2, and Metal tape formulations with automatic tape type selection, and offers Dolby B, Dolby C, and HX Pro noise reduction for clean recordings across all formats. On the recording side, the deck includes manual bias and individual left/right level adjustment, plus APRS (Advanced Precise Rec.-Level System) for optimised recording levels. Connections include RCA line inputs and outputs, along with a 6.3mm headphone jack for direct monitoring. Additional conveniences include a 4-digit digital tape counter, TPS (Tape Program Sensor) for title search, Memory Stop/Repeat, and a TNRC (Technics Non-Resonant Compound) base plate designed to minimise vibration interference during playback and recording.
