About this model
The TASCAM DR-680 is a portable 8-track digital multitrack recorder that records to SD/SDHC cards. It offers six balanced mic/line inputs (four XLR/TRS combo jacks and two TRS jacks) plus S/PDIF and AES/EBU digital input, with AKM Audio4Pro 192kHz A/D converters. It records up to 96kHz/24-bit across eight channels, or 192kHz/24-bit in stereo, in BWF, WAV or MP3 formats. Two-second pre-record helps capture the start of a take, and two units can be cascaded for 12- or 14-track recording. It runs from the supplied AC adapter or eight AA batteries, making it suited to location recording, band capture and field work.
A great opportunity to own a TASCAM DR-680 at this price point.
