This pair of Hi-Fi speakers is in very good condition. They have passed our 6-point functional test; no faults found. Note: Fully tested, and everything we checked works as it should. About this model

The Harbeth LS3/5A is a two-way, sealed-enclosure mini-monitor loudspeaker built around a 4.5" doped-Bextrene KEF B110 bass/midrange driver and a 19mm Mylar-dome KEF T27 tweeter. The compact 12mm birch plywood cabinet, with solid beech bracing and heavy damping, measures roughly 31 x 19 x 16 cm. A 13-element crossover with a switch to adjust high-frequency level is fitted, and the response carries a deliberate lift around 160 Hz to reinforce the perceived bass. The tweeter is surrounded by a thick felt rectangle to minimise diffraction, and the acoustically transparent grille is intended to stay on during listening.
