About This Model

The Tascam DP-32SD is a 32-track Digital Portastudio built around SD/SDHC card recording at up to 48 kHz / 24-bit resolution, with simultaneous 8-track recording and 32-track playback. It offers eight XLR/TRS combo inputs with switchable phantom power - Input H doubling as a high-impedance instrument input - alongside stereo RCA outputs, balanced TRS monitor outputs, and a headphone output. Onboard processing covers dynamics (compressor, limiter, noise suppressor, exciter), guitar multi-effects including amp simulation, and a dedicated mastering section with EQ, multi-band compression, and normalisation. A 3.5-inch colour LCD, 21 faders, and USB 2.0 mass storage connectivity round out a self-contained recording environment that needs no computer to track, mix, or master.
