This Hi-Fi speaker is in fair condition. Our 7-point functional test was completed in full: all checks passed except all drivers. Note: The tweeter on one of the speakers is not working. About this model

The Tannoy Mercury MX2 is a 2-way bass reflex bookshelf speaker pairing a 145mm (5.75 inch) ceramic-coated woofer with a 25mm (1 inch) soft dome tweeter, crossing over at 2.8 kHz. With a frequency response of 48 Hz to 20 kHz, 88 dB sensitivity and an 8 ohm impedance, it suits amplifiers from 10 to 80 watts. The rear-firing port comes with foam bungs to tune bass response for placement near a wall, and the magnetic shielding allows positioning near displays. Bi-wire capable gold-plated binding posts and a What Hi-Fi? 5-star award round out the package.
