About this model
The Tannoy Eclipse Two is a 2-way bass reflex floorstanding loudspeaker released in 2015, built around a 127mm (5") multi-fibre coated pulp paper cone driver handling mid and low frequencies, paired with a 28mm (1.1") damped silk dome tweeter featuring a neodymium magnet system. The crossover is a passive low-loss design operating at 3.2 kHz - a 2nd order low pass and 3rd order high pass - delivering a frequency response of 44 Hz to 32 kHz. With a sensitivity of 88 dB, an 8-ohm impedance, and a recommended amplifier power range of 15-90 Watts RMS, the Eclipse Two is well suited to a wide range of partnering amplifiers. Connection is via rear binding posts compatible with banana plugs. Each cabinet measures 270 x 909 x 287 mm and weighs 11.5 kg.
