About This Model

The Tannoy E11 is a two-way, ported loudspeaker built around a 6.5" polyolefin co-polymer woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 25mm aluminium dome tweeter featuring a polyamide surround. Tannoy's Differential Material Technology is applied to the tweeter, while edge-wound voice coils on Kapton formers are used across both drivers to improve power handling. The crossover sits at 3kHz, employing a first-order low-pass and second-order high-pass topology. The enclosure uses internal bracing to reduce panel resonances and is finished in black ash. For connection flexibility, the E11 is bi-wiring capable, offering two pairs of input terminals with shorting bars included for standard single-wire use.
