About this model
The Superlux CM-H8A is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone built around a 1-inch (25.4 mm) gold-evaporated diaphragm just 3 microns thick, delivering a wide frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz. It operates on 48V phantom power, outputs via a standard 3-pin XLR connector, and offers a cardioid polar pattern suited to vocals, acoustic instruments, and studio recording. An equivalent noise level of 18 dB(A) keeps the self-noise low, while a maximum SPL handling of 132 dB provides headroom for louder sources. A built-in low-cut filter helps manage proximity effect, and the microphone's 200-ohm output impedance pairs well with typical preamp inputs. The aluminium body carries a champagne silver finish and the unit ships with an HM-8 swivel standmount and hard case.
A great opportunity to own a Superlux CM-H8A at this price point.
