About this model

The SSL Nucleus 2 is a DAW controller and audio interface in one unit, with no keys or sound engine of its own. It offers 16 touch-sensitive motorised faders, 16 V-Pots and a jog/shuttle wheel, and can control up to 3 DAWs over Ethernet using HUI/MCU protocols. The built-in 2x2 Dante audio interface runs from 44.1kHz to 96kHz at 24-bit, with two combi XLR mic/line/instrument inputs fed by SSL SuperAnalogue mic preamps (80Hz high-pass filter, phase reverse, phantom power and -20dB pad). Monitoring includes zero-latency recording monitoring with wet/dry control, two sets of stereo monitor outputs, two headphone outputs and a talkback input. S/PDIF I/O, USB with a 3-port hub, a footswitch input and an SD card slot for saving configuration profiles round out the connectivity.
