About This Model

The Squier Affinity Telecaster is a solid-body electric guitar built around an alder body with a polyurethane finish and a bolt-on 1-piece maple neck with a comfortable "C" profile. The Indian Laurel fretboard runs 21 medium-jumbo frets at a 9.5" radius over a 25.5" scale length, with a 1.6" synthetic bone nut keeping things feeling open and easy. Two single-coil Tele pickups feed a 3-position blade switch - bridge, bridge+neck, and neck - with master volume and master tone controls, delivering the crisp, twangy character the Telecaster format is known for. This example comes fitted with upgraded brass saddles in place of the standard bridge hardware, a popular modification that adds sustain and a warmer mid-range edge to the classic Tele tone.
