About This Model

The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is Fender's entry-level take on the iconic Stratocaster design, built around an alder or poplar body with a maple "C"-shape neck and Indian Laurel fingerboard. It features 21 medium jumbo frets on a 25.5" scale length, making it comfortable for a wide range of playing styles. Three Squier single-coil pickups in an SSS configuration are routed through a 5-position blade switch with dedicated volume and tone controls, delivering the classic bright, spanky tones the Stratocaster format is known for. A 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and standard die-cast tuning machines with split shafts round out the hardware, while a synthetic bone nut completes the setup.
