About This Model

The Sonicake Matribox (QME-50) is a compact multi-effects processor for electric guitar, bass, and acoustic instruments, built around Sonicake's White-Box Digital Modeling Technology with 24-bit/44.1kHz signal processing. It offers 40 amp models and 38 IR cabinet simulations — with room for 15 user IRs — plus 130 built-in effects arranged across up to 9 simultaneous, freely ordered effect blocks. Its 198 preset slots (99 factory, 99 user) are complemented by a 90-second looper and a drum machine with 100 patterns for self-contained practice. I/O includes a 1/4" guitar input, stereo 1/8" aux in, stereo 1/4" outputs, a headphone output, and a USB-C port that doubles as a stereo audio interface with OTG support and free PC/Mac editor software. A 1/4" jack accommodates an external expression pedal or footswitch, and the unit features a built-in expression pedal on a durable metal chassis.
