About This Model
The Skoog 2.0 is a wireless, multi-dimensional MIDI controller built around a foam cube that responds to squeeze, contact direction, and multitouch - making it a fundamentally different kind of expressive input device rather than a conventional keyboard or pad controller. It has no internal sound engine of its own, but connects to iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows via Bluetooth Low Energy or USB 2.0, sending standard MIDI and HID data to your software of choice. Up to 17 playable areas across the cube's surfaces and buttons can be independently mapped to notes, effects, or parameters, and it ships with two software synths - one physical modelling and one virtual analogue - to get you started immediately. A developer API also allows custom applications to tap directly into the raw sensor data.
