About this model

The Shure SM58 is a cardioid dynamic handheld vocal microphone with a frequency response of 50 to 15,000 Hz and a 3-pin XLR connector. It features a built-in spherical wind and pop filter along with a pneumatic shock-mount system to reduce handling noise. Its tailored vocal response delivers a brightened midrange and gentle bass rolloff, making it well suited to live singing and spoken-word applications. As a dynamic microphone, it requires no phantom power to operate.
