Its frequency response runs from 50 to 15,000 Hz, shaped with a brightened midrange and bass rolloff to flatter the human voice. The unidirectional polar pattern focuses on the sound source directly in front of the capsule while rejecting off-axis noise and bleed from monitors. No phantom power or batteries are required - it connects via a standard 3-pin XLR male connector and draws nothing from the signal chain. An internal pneumatic shock-mount system reduces handling noise, while the built-in spherical wind and pop filter tames breath plosives mid-performance.
