The Roland PDX-8 is an 8-inch mesh-head electronic drum pad featuring an expanded 10-inch rim for rim shots and cross-stick playing. Its 2-zone design provides separate head and rim triggering, giving drummers expressive performance options typically associated with acoustic kits. The mesh head delivers a natural stick rebound feel while keeping noise levels low — well suited to home practice environments.
