About the Roland MC-505
Why this one
- Fair condition - a fully working unit at a great price
- Fully tested - flawless results across all functional checks
- 64-voice JV-1080-derived sound engine with 8-track sequencer and D-Beam live control
- Six audio outputs and MIDI make it ideal for studio and live electronic setups
Condition: Fair
This sampler or sequencer is in fair condition. It has passed our full 8-point functional test with perfect results. Note: Fully tested; it powers on and everything we checked works as it should. Please note that the keys are quite sensitive, and pressing one will sometimes sound the note twice instead of once. Cosmetically, there are quite a few surface marks and scratches throughout, most notably a dent on the back left corner and another on the front left corner. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.
What's included

About this model
The Roland MC-505 is a desktop groovebox combining a sequencer with a sample-based synthesis engine derived from the JV-1080. It offers 64-voice polyphony, 8-part multitimbrality including a separate rhythm channel, 512 preset sounds and 256 user patch memories. The 8-track pattern sequencer holds 714 preset patterns, 200 user patterns and 50 songs, with 16 mini keys for note entry and pattern programming. The D-Beam infrared controller and MEGAMix function allow live manipulation and pattern mixing. Connectivity includes 6 audio outputs (two main stereo and four direct mono), a headphone jack and MIDI In/Out, and it runs from an internal power supply.
A great opportunity to own a Roland MC-505 at this price point.
