About This Model

The Roland FP-10 is an 88-key portable digital piano built around Roland's PHA-4 Standard hammer action, which features triple-sensor detection, individually graded hammer weighting, escapement simulation, and ivory-feel keytops - the same action technology found in Roland's higher-tier instruments. Sound generation comes from Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano engine, complete with string resonance, damper resonance, and key-off resonance for a more organic acoustic response. The FP-10 offers 96-note polyphony and 15 built-in voices, expandable to 35 via the free Piano Partner 2 app, which also unlocks split and layer functions and MIDI recording. Connectivity includes a USB-to-Host port, Bluetooth 4.0 MIDI for wireless app control, a 3.5 mm headphone output, and a sustain pedal input compatible with the optional DP-10 half-pedal unit. The onboard amplification runs at 12 watts total through two speakers. At roughly 27 lbs, it's a compact instrument well suited to smaller spaces.
