About This Model
The Roland Fantom G6 is a 61-key advanced workstation keyboard featuring a PHA II 'Ivory Feel' weighted-action keyboard with velocity and channel aftertouch. Its sound engine draws on 256MB of wave-ROM and supports SuperNATURAL behavior-modeling technology through two ARX expansion board slots, with 128 voices of polyphony shared across synthesis and sampling. The large 8.5" wide VGA color LCD makes navigation straightforward, while the onboard sequencer offers 128 MIDI tracks and 24 audio tracks. Audio I/O includes dual 1/4" TRS main outputs, a secondary stereo output pair, and inputs accommodating line, mic (with phantom power), and hi-Z guitar signals via 1/4" and XLR connections. Four control knobs, eight sliders, a D-Beam controller, and a DIMM slot for additional sampling memory round out a comprehensive feature set.
