Note: The microphone is in fantastic condition with only one small dent on the grille. It is in full working order and functions as intended, with clean audio output that sounds as expected. Comes with its own dedicated external power supply, so phantom power is not required. Also included are the shock mount and the microphone cable. About this model
The RØDE K2 is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone built around dual 1-inch gold-sputtered diaphragms and a hand-selected 6922 twin-triode valve. Its polar pattern is continuously variable between omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8 via the dedicated external power supply - meaning no phantom power is needed. With a self-noise floor of just 10 dBA, a maximum SPL handling of 162 dB, and a dynamic range of 150 dB, the K2 covers everything from delicate acoustic sources to high-pressure transients across a full 20 Hz-20 kHz frequency response. The 3-pin XLR output runs at 200 ohms impedance, making it compatible with standard studio preamp inputs.
